in the details, of course.  Subtilitas is a fellow tumblr and an architect.  In this particular post, a reader submitted a question regarding education as an architect and the profession. I realize that this quote can be likely be applied to nearly any professional occupation, but it stood out to me.

if you are passionate about it, the feeling of accomplishment you’ll feel when your design idea clicks, after a successful school critique, when you experience a space you designed first hand or when you touch a detail you spent weeks laboring over will more then validate any struggle.

I need to hear things like this towards the end of the semester; I’m usually sleep deprived, and feel like I’ve been drained of every ounce of energy.  It’s nice to hear that while it may always be like this, the rewards are gratifying.
